Haliey's Turning Point
The person I interviewed was Hailey Shelor. Hailey had a
dog named Foxy. Foxy was 94 years old in dog years making her 658 years old in
human years. Foxy could not run and walked really slow. She could not see and it
became hard for her to eat or drink anything. It cause her to become very
skinny. They took her to the vet. On May 2012 the veterinarian put Foxy to
sleep. Foxy weighed 20 pounds on the day she passed away. Hailey was happy when
Foxy die not because she was dead but because she was at peace and not in pain.
But Hailey was lonely. A few a days later Hailey got Foxy’s ashes. Everyone was
crying. Everyone in Hailey’s family began to move on slowly except Hailey. She
felt lost without her friend. But she thought of a way to move on. She went to
the pet store and got herself a new dog. She ended up naming it Foxy, but she would never
forget her first Foxy.
